JANET OH GALLERY located in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul contributes not only to represent exhibitions for the audiences to appreciate the works of contemporary artists, but also to concentrate on an educational program to illuminate keen audiences who want to understand artists and the works, having conversation with the artists. JANET OH GALLERY will actively utilize global network and provide strong one-of-a-kind exhibitions as well as giving advice based on a thorough understanding of the art market and its commodities. Janet Oh has established Janet Oh Gallery in 2005. JANET OH GALLERY represented emerging Korean artists as well as a stable of diverse global contemporary artists. JANET OH GALLERY had participated in numerous art fairs from Asia to the United States such as SCOPE Basel, Miami, New York and Hamptons. In June 2006, she advised Bonham’s Auctioneers (London) on Korean contemporary art for their Contemporary East Asian Art sale. Many art market professionals had identified this sale as having launched Korean contemporary art in the international art marketplace. Janet Oh Gallery exhibited prominent international artists such as Ed Rucha, Barbara Kruger, Robin Rhode, Michael Wolf and Zadok Ben, and also organized exhibitions of Korean artists: Lee Dong Yub, Jeong Kwang Ho, Kim Joon, Bae Joon Sung, Yang Man-Ki, Chung Hye Jin, Lee Jon Keun, Ji hoon Park, Sang bin In, Lee Hyun Bae, Jang Seoung Taik.
